SATURDAY MORNINGS

The library's main aim is to encourage the promotion of the English language. The fact is that a commmand of English is the passport to any form of Higher Education and the competence needed for the many job opportunties available in the service industries and tourism.

Every saturday morning volunteers from the Peace Corps, from the local community and visitors to the island come and tell stories, read children's books and involve themselves in 'make and do' projects with the younger members of our community whose parents recognise that competence in English is essential for their child's prospects.

Everyone is welcome on Saturdays to tell stories, read books and join in.

Saturday morning reading and 'make and do' 9 - 10.30
